There's a funny fight vid I've been wanting to re-watch for ages but never could find it. I think it's a kind of MMA type thing. It is different clips of this Russian or Ukrainian (or other ex Soviet country) and he's completely off his head. I don't think he's a very good fighter but his sheer confidence, madness and lack of fear carries him through (and probably scared his opponents just enough). At one point he tries to fight a full round just using his head but. Anyone know the vid I mean? Any chance of a link? The lad is a big ****er (wide I mean) and has short ginger hair.
I would give every dollar i own to see Rackley in there with Sutherland where are the promoters!!! give the fans what they've been waiting for!!!
And here I was enjoying a nice thread until this BS. The guy never fought anyone while with Ingle, and leaving Ingle or not would have made no difference in his career. He reached the point where he thought he was so good he didn't need anyone in his corner. He completely ignored his cornermen and treated them with contempt much of the time late in his career. He was only 27 and barely been hit by a decent fighter. He was not shot or a shell of himself, he was simply exposed as a marginal talent with loads a power. He never would've beaten any of the top dogs of his day, much less any "featherweight the world has every seen". That's quite likely the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen posted here.
A kangaroo hop Superman punch. Wow Manny should get a hold of this footage. That could be the secret punch to destroy all Mayweathers
You talk sense, but... 'Marginal' talent? What rubbish. Hamed was one of the most talented fighters I've seen. His style was obviously flawed, as was his attitude and resume, but he can't be faulted in the talent department.
Bump for some of the punches Hank Lundy threw against John Molina. Particularly Lundy's spinning backfist.
