Seldon sure was big and didn't take a good punch. You would think with his build he would have.

Hamed's what I've come to call "Bazooka Jab" (Trademarked that **** ya dig?) did it with either hand, dipped low and exploded up like a sort of uppercut/jab hybrid. When it landed it sent people's heads flying.

As for the Tyson's punch on Seldon it would have to be the most effective given he didn't land yet still knocked him out. Tyson had clearly figured out something no boxer before or since has.

It is, but it still looks weird. Yori Boy had a few of them -- his incredibly short solar plexus uppercut with the left hand is also something I've never seen another boxer do with regularity. In truth, might be only Ricky Hatton was capable of it, as they both had short, stubby arms.

I saw some uncomfortable expressions on Trinidads face in his match with Campas, and I think the solar plexus shots had a lot to do with it. His celebration after he almost broke Campas' neck with that left hook gave the impression of relief.

I believe he was in a painful war, and he was worried he wasn't hurting Campas as much as he was hurting, until the ironborn Mexican finally started to wobble in round 4.

    Underrated little gem, this fight.

Three pages in, and this is the first mention of Wajima's "Frog Jump" uppercut punch?:huh [Well, I guess some people wouldn't consider the Frog Punch "weird looking" and "effective."]
