Very impressive win! Coming through a lot of clean shots, being outboxed for a half dozen rounds but still coming back strong and finishing strong.

    Great fan fighter!

    Bring on the rematch!

I don't think Cotto or De La Hoya will want any part of Margarito.

    Margarito is a beast.

What could Cotto do better next time? Try to box more? Cotto boxed well for 8 rds but Antonio will just wear him down again.

Pointless, if it ended by decision then yeah a rematch would be great. Cotto just got stopped and it would happen even earlier in a rematch, he's better off moving on to something else till he's seriously ready for it, an instant rematch would be silly.

Cotto dont want no part of Margo after the beating that he got.
He will probably go back to 140.

Cotto did Very good against Margarito,
But Cottos Glass Chin Vs Margarito's Granite chin sums it all up.

I really liked how Antonio was able to take those punches and give it back. Huge heart, it made the difference. And of course the great great condition...

Is Margarito made of steel? Absorbing all those combo shots like it was nothing. He even gave a smirk early on as if to say "you got nothing that can hurt me." And even though he was getting outpointed, you can easily see who was throwing the more damaging shots.

Amazing fight. Margarito gets all the props he deserves after that.

Hopefully the PPV numbers will be better than we expected (I predicted 250k). That means Margarito is a money fighter now.

Let's see the possible fights for Tony for the future:
Margarito's team is interested in the Judah-Clottey and the Mosley-Mayorga winner
Margarito is interested in the Cotto rematch, so are we
Williams is interested in the rematch

That's really, really good, and as Margarito is in the main position, a great fight is guaranteed no matter whom he fights...
