    Maybe. Don't get me wrong, Jack is a good fighter but I just think Smith is looking very good at the moment and is going to be no1 at SMW within a year or so. However, I have been wrong before so I would never rule out the option that he is being over rated by many, including myself. I just like his style and power.

    There's no problem with rooting for guys you like. You just have to be honest with yourself when you're comparing prospects against proven fighters.

    It is a very weak division and I can't even think of any real good prospects coming up in it at the moment either. Other than DeGale, Jack, Ramirez and Callum Smith who is there? I thought Jesse Hart looked promising the first couple of times I saw him fight but he just got dropped x 2 by a journeyman and narrowly avoided being knocked out. David Benavidez looks really impressive but he's only 19 and still growing so how long will he be able to make weight?

    Since doing the thread Dirrel got dropped by Caparello and looked horrible, Hyppolyte was almost KTFO by Boone, Hart was almost KTFO by Dashin Johnson, Ahlin lost to Patrick Mendy, Sturm was beaten again again by Chudinov and got a gift, then tested positive for PED's, Fielding went life and death with Rebrasse and was almost KTFO, Callum looked less than impressive against Cesar Hernan Reynoso and struggle to get the journeymn out of there, Bute gave Jack all he could handle and questionably tested positive afterward, Porky Medina beat DeGale and was robbed.

    Well at least Ramirez put on a masterclass against AA.:thumbsup

    Compare the current MW division to SMW and tell me which one is more the wasteland?

    To me, the SMW division looks talent deep relative to the dead MW division.

    Its weak in terms of the level of the fighters but that can make for entertaining highly competitive fights. I appreciate Ward but he used to bore the socks off me..

    The flux divisions & lesser skilled ones are actually value for money at times, & I always like watching Groves fight anyway..

    Uzcategui, Ramirez, Benavidez, Groves, Fielding, Smith, Battered Degale, C fuvkwit Junior, Truax, Dirrell.. Its an hilarious mix. Even BJS might enter the fray soon..

    Fun division.

    Groves, Callum Smith and Benavidez are the only top fighters at 168.
    Apparently Uzcategui has improved I haven't seen his recent fights but I remember Korobov dominating him pretty easily. It's embarrassing abd shows you how weak it is that guys like shot Degale, Eubank Jr, Ramirez, Fielding, Jesse Hart, Truax, shot Abraham are ranked so highly.

    Also, the prospects are really weak that are coming up too. I'd say Vladimir Shishkin is the only good prospect there's no one else worth mentioning.
