I can seortof see the Kahn thing, although I've never known Khan to do a lot of mouthing, but he was hyped too much.

I can see the Hatton thing too because of his rabid, unrealistic and very loud fans.

I don't know that I ever saw Jacobs act anyway except positive and respectful. Maybe there's some footage out there I don't know about, but in the two or three interviews I saw with him as he was coming up, I thought he was going to be one of boxing's good guys.

The GOAT deserved beating was Frazier-Ali I, as has been stated already. There was no excuse for what Ali did to that man leading into the fight. He went well beyond typical insulting trash talk, and turned Joe Frazier, his brother in race during a very pivotal time in the civil rights movement, into a pariah to his own people.

One of the saddest things I've ever seen in boxing was the post fight press conference, when only Joe showed, and he's also taken quite a beating, clearly battered, and all he said he wanted, was for Ali to "apologize for all the things he said about me".
    Of course, he never did.

With people like Khan and Jacobs I think it's more the hype that the fans and networks put on them prior to acheiving anything that caused the dislike.

I don't think I'm the only one that really wanted Khan to get KO'd before his loss to Prescott as the media/social networks were already proclaiming his greatness. Now he's getting called a "glass jawed joke", i've become quite a big fan!!

This is the reason I was so desperate for Dawson to lose. He struggled by Glen Johnson and beat a faded Tarver twice and many people were placing him #3 on their P4P lists. This made me so happy when he lost to Pascal, though it certainly wasn't a beating.

Again though, Jacobs didn't have anywhere near the PR machine that Khan had, and he always came across as a great guy. To each his own I guess.

Anyway, has Chavez-Camacho been mentioned yet?

Margarito wasn't making fun of Roach's parkinsons :-(

He was "shaking" pretending to be afraid of Roach and Pacquiao. As in, oooh we're so scared.

AFTER that Rios started directly making fun of Roach.

    :-(
