he does indeed, had a feeling he would get knocked out but was impressed with the way he controlled the fight, Kotelnik would have been lucky to get one round off the judges, so in that respect it was a top performance from Amir. :bbb
I didn't think Khan could maintain that type of workrate, nor did I think his chin would hold up, despite Kotelnik not being a massive puncher. So give Khan a lot of credit. I picked Kotelnik to stop him in the mid to late rounds. But Khan proved me wrong. He boxed well for the entire fight and seemingly never tired. His defense also has improved, and whenever Kotelnik did get in a solid blow, he was able to absorb the shots with no effect. It appears the move up in weight has helped his punch resistance. So props to him. :thumbsup
The scenario for Kan beating a solid fighter and winning a legit belt in less than a year after brutal knockout was unthinkable. For coming back with determination self belief, dedication and heart he deserves a ton on credit. Certainly a true fighter as everyone trampled over Khan after the Prescott knockout loss and had written him off as a fraud and at best a domestic fighter. He took some decent shots pretty well tonight as well. Perhaps he was too weight drained. Also, lot of credit to Roach and Ariza
It was really a picture prfect performanc from Khan, and he took some shots as well!!! Congratulations to him!!
Props to Khan, he used the tools he had to great effect. Incredible speed, what he lacks @140 in power he makes up for with work rate.

Im onboard. Too many haters on here. Just waiting for rico **** sucker to turn up now and bang on about glass jaws and what ever **** he comes out with.
yeah it's important to remember how devastating that loss was. he got completely trashed. to regroup and win a big 4 title deserves kudos. :thumbsup despite the fact titles have become diluted and kotelnik is bottom half of the top 10 level. :yep
