After all the **** people have written on here about Amir, people should be singing his praises. I thought he boxed really intelligently and has improved greatly under Virgil
Kell brook has no chance based on that performance and the improvement to come, infact I'd say the fight is even further away than before

Too right Billy - Collazo a better opponent in his first fight at 147 than Brook has faced in 30 odd fights

100% the best Khan for a long time maybe even ever in some ways, a lot of credit goes to Hunter as well, i'm not a big Khan fan but i don't dislike him either, I wouldn't rule out him getting a title but against big punchers at their peak the same problems remain that have always been there although If he's looking at only 2 or 3 big fights with good money then tonight's done him no harm, lot of pressure on him as well as even if he said otherwise he knew the whole thing could've died tonight with a split seconds carelessness. Were the boo's after Mayweather fight simply disappointed Maidana fans
or was there genuine belief Maidana won? (he certainly didn't win the fight I watched but gave him something more than most have)

He looked excellent last night, def props to him

He made Callazo look terrible or maybe just exposed him for the fighter he is, either way best performance since the Judah fight

Gd to see him going back to the body which IMO, is where he is most dangerous

    Well done

I don't like Khan and I'm wont to pic against him but I have to admit he performed very well. I thought he got away with more holding than he should have but that aside it could be his best performance to date.

A sensible and well thought out post. He looked good, without us all getting too carried away. As far as beating mayweather, who knows ? There is one thing for sure in my opinion though. He beats broner hands down. :bbb

Take nothing away from Khan for sure. However, to say that Brook has no chance on that performance is a very silly statement and completely short sighted. Brook an untested, but undefeated fighter may have many levels himself given stiffer opposition. Not to mention the fact that Khan can pretty much be knocked out by anyone.

Collazo is a solid welterweight gatekeeper type at world level. But his recent record (minus the Ortiz fight) is basically that of a journeyman and he was beaten by Freddie Hernandez in 2011, who has since lost his last 5 bouts.

I am not saying Brook will definitely beat Khan but it is extreme to say that that Brook can't beat Khan based on one performance v a fighter who is not an elite WW. What were you saying after the Diaz fight?!!

Never had a dig before Billy but you should retract that statement at least until after the Crawford fight. You may be proved to be right but there are simply too many intangibles and boxing is not that easy to call.

If Brook does beat Crwaford then I think that the fight should be made. Brook has a belt to offer. Thurmon has earnt the shot at Mayweather far more than Khan so he should realistically be the next cab off the rank. Either way if the Khan-Mayweather fight doesn't happen then Brook-Khan should if Kell manages to get past Porter.
