Kell is another Matchroom/British Hype-Job. And I say that as a Brit.

 

Kell is nowhere near getting even a sniff at Khan after last nights performance. He is leagues beyond what Brook can bring in terms of variety, speed, intensity and what would be most telling, punch volume and endurance. Mayweather will study that fight with great interest.

 

Great performance from Khan for his 1st fight at 147 against a solid opponent.

Khan did look good but i do wish he would attack the body more he is so effective when he does. Clinched a little too much and that would not be allowed vs a popular fighter but overall very good and he kept to a gameplan

 

What a ridiculous comment. If Brook beats Porter he is IBF champ. Khan still has all his eggs in one basket waiting for Mayweather. Brook has his destiny in his own hands.

 

As does Amir.

 

A fighters destiny is rarely in his own hands.

 

Brook has nothing to interest Khan ..... at the moment ! He wins a title and then things may change. Khan has a loss and things may change. They both win something, well that'd be very interesting. Look at the interest generated in Froch and Groves. And both these lads are Northern lads, and could generate a bit of interest up North.

 

I would like khan to learn to fight a little more on the inside and every now and then Really step on his punches and put power on them as he goes for speed not power but every now amd he. Throw a bigger shot in. Good performance but i dont think he gets floyd especaially in sep ans amir wont fight then. maybe go after manny or winner of brook vs porter

 

Khan done brilliant a thought last night, someone asked how his chin held up, well ad say it wasnt tested much but he did take a big right hand at one point which shook him, a thought he cud be in trouble but he recovered well so his chin done just fine. A would like to see amir in with broner next if floyd maidana 2 happens, a reckon he would do him easy

A couple of points, i was someone who was critical of Khan over the last while and i though Collazo would stop him, This was based on his Diaz performance were he looked poor no question. Last night however i saw vast improvements since that fight, he boxed to a game plan, carried his speed up to WW and was in the 10th able to hurt a tough guy in Collazo. What impressed me most was his ability to negate Collazo, he didn't allow Luis to get shots off on the inside every time Collazo went to the inside khan either tied up or spun off the ropes and punched back. Their was however still some flaws their, he did seem to become somewhat ragged in the later rounds and did slow down, while he hurt Collazo in the 10th before then Luis clearly had no respect for Khans power and you'd worry about an elite WW like Porter being able to walk him down like he did Paulie. Still plenty to work on but compared to Diaz and Molina a vast improvement. With regards to Brook we really have to see Kell at top level, for the time being however Kell and Eddie can forget about Khan needing them, in reality Brook brings little to the table for Khan. Khan should fight the winner of Porter/ Brook imo sometime in November seen as he won't be fighting Floyd for Ramadan/ Floyd is going to fight Maidana again it seems. Fair play to Khan proved me wrong last night still plenty to work on but he looked the old Khan in their last night.
