It was a technical miss-match, Limond was beat up. The only chance he had was a punchers chance, in no other area of the fight did he dominate for long periods of time. People need to get a grip emtionally, Limond was beat up.
Limond, in the end, was well beaten but he only got bust up after stustaining a perforated eardrum. From that point on Khan was essentially fighting a drunk. The cards I believe had Khan well ahead but that was already decided. I had Khan ahead by one point at the end of round 8.
The perforated eardrum helped Khan out. That, the long count, and the fact Limond was punched out after the sixth. Put Alex Arthur in front of Khan and the Scot would eat him. Khan's one fight away from Fraudley vs Sprott type exposure.
Exactly. If he was just another unproven prospect moving up the ladder, many of us would likely have nothing against him. And if his management hadn't intentionally chosen very SOFT punchers for him to fight, few would have questioned his whiskers. Obviously, there was a REASON why they did this, but when you're over-hyping a fighter, you better not pad his record with light-hitters and not expect people to say something about it.
I like him. I think there questions over his entourage and he needs to tighten up his defence, and for f**k sake use his height. None of that makes him a bad guy.
