I think the crowd had a lot to do with that decision. We couldn't hear it through our tv's but my mate said every time Joshua through a punch the crowd would scream out even if it hit thin air

Disgusted by the decision, clearly we are going to benefit from Home advantage. This needs to changed, judges put in sound proof booths round the ring covered on 3 sides so thy can only see the ring.

 

1st round close for Savon.
2nd clearly Savon.
3rd close for Savon.

Clear win for Savon imo. The fact that we regularly see worse decisions is pretty depressing and there's a danger that we become used to them and rather too accepting.

A lot of the blame however has to be put on the ridiculous scoring system and it needs to be scrapped.

As for all those saying that they Hope Joshua gets beat because of this dodgy decision, calm down ladies.

 

It happens every time and its usually a lot worse, if this is the only dodgy decision we get we will have been probably the best host of all time for an amateur tournament

 

I hope that one of our fighters who genuinely wins doesnt get screwed over by officials trying to 'balance' out the Joshua decision
