Cotto is the same height as pacquiao. So you can't use the size difference as a defense.

Physical fighters like Margarito and Andrade are underrated on ESB a hell of a lot. Smooth skillz are overrated.

What a stupid statement, margarito has no smooth skills, his lower body and upper body have no syncrinized co -ordination. He throws his punch before remembering to take a step leaving himself in nowhere mans land he is serverly uncordinated just a tough fighter!

The only question is: how many more beatings of this kind can he take? Maybe he'll never quite be the same after this last one...

...Margarito ain't getting better... he can only get worse.

On the first few rounds, he was doing a Clottey but, as brave as he is, chose to fight knowing he could get busted and knocked out.

Props to Margo. He lost but gave a good show nevertheless.

Here's your source on what Capetillo said on Mosley-Margo fight:

    http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2010/11/...eaks-silence-on-antonio-margaritos-illegal-w/

"[Margarito's] weight was a problem for that entire camp. He put on a lot of weight, not just water pounds but muscle, after he beat Cotto. He had to chop 20 pounds before he left Mexico to begin his camp for Mosley, and then he dropped another 30 in camp. He kept dropping weight and dropping weight until he had nothing," said Capetillo, adding that Margarito also had back problems that caused him to miss crucial training days.

"Then he would gain back whatever weight he lost the previous week. He was 16 pounds over [the welterweight limit] one week before the fight, and the closer we got to the weight, the sicker he got from dehydration," said Capetillo. "Four or five days out from the fight it was like he had the flu. He was shrinking before our eyes."

I thought the same thing. Pac said it too. I was surprised to see the condition Pac's face was in after the fight. Don't recall ever seeing his lip busted before. I thought Pac was allowing himself to get hit on the ropes tomake the fight more entertaining and less lopsided. He sure got out of the ropes fast after getting those 2 huge back to back body shots, the same type that finished off Kermit Cintron. I wish the ref stopped the fight. Hopefully no brain damage or future Parkinson's for Margarito after receiving those 479 punches.

    Margarito respect to you.

You definitely did not go clottey on us and Pacquiao respected that and even let you survive the 12th... you were punished on the day the hand wraps were found and you have paid dearly with a KO even and punishment. Enjoy your money because you deserved it.

Also, the way he would bully pacquiao in the ropes was amazing, Body shots were the key because when he was connecting those Pac would slow down, his camp should have told to try and do this more often... At one point Marg connected 2 hard body shots to the right side of mannys ribs and manny just took of running that round.

Great fight. I just wish Margo could have fought pac in the inside at the ropes more often where he was effective and took away pac's speed and movement.
