After that joke 'fight' between Cook and Burns, Ed asks Robert Smith right off the bat "What did you make of that farce?" - Robert Smith looking a bit flustered was trying to downplay what had happened, and said 'farce' was a bit strong.

It was a ****in farce of epic proportions! There is on other way to describe it!

And well done too, Adam Smith for rightly questioning Cook's physical condition going into this fight? How did Cook go through a training camp with such a dodgy back? And why did some bookies suspend round betting for this fight. There are a lot questions to answer for this, and well done Ed, for asking Smith if there will be an inquiry. Surely there must be one - that was terrible for boxing and it was for a world title fight too.

PS. Loving Gary Newbon anchoring this show as well, better feel to the studio debate as a result:good

Yes, and typically ****** took umbrage at Smith's question even being asked.

Smith looked seething and rightly so.

Well done Sky? Not one of them has mentioned that betting for that fight was suspended this morning.

They asked all the questions you said but didn't get answers to any of them (or even try to answer them yourself), and didn't follow any of them up either.

have to disagree about gary newbon or whatever his name is. Dont like him, although at least tonight he knows the guests and fighters unlike when he was on for Kessler and Froch vs Johnson

+1 Exactly, you couldnt miss that body language, that is why I applaud the likes of Ed and Adam for calling it as it is.

Tommy to be fair to Newbon, that was his first stint back in the hot seat for donkeys, anchoring a show requires an experienced head at the best of times (so I am told anyway), but he knows his stuff alright, I grew up watch Newbon on ITV and he is excellent, a proper boxing man.

I am glad they didnt, there is a time and place for that, boxing is a marginalised sport as it is.

With all the conspiracies theories about the Cook-Burns fight, is there a chance the Murray-Mitchell fight was moved to this card to save face when Burns-Cook went tits up??
    Just a thought.

Ed Robinson should be sacked for saying that.......

"Total disrespect towards Nicky Cook, and boxing in general"

Nicky Cook was in real pain, and was still trying to carry on and fight back.

Like I'm sick of guys like Ed Robinson with these kind of jobs, when there's people like us who would do a even better job than him.

"And never ask such stupid disrespectful questions"

People should complain to Sky!!! Boxing Team.
