Haha i hope so. Not really a likeable fella, comes across as a little scrote with a bad attitude. Most probably just showmanship though.
Ricky Burns has no reason to be afraid of Broner for me. Broner has shown nothing to say he is a class above Ricky... Since Ricky won his world title he has won every fight easily, regardless of the opposition.
Broner would outbox and stop a prime SRL. Don't go anywhere near him, he's murderous!!! Not. Not sure what it is, as soon as a gobby American gets to 20-0 with a few nice KOs everyone starts creaming over them.
Broner's more you're Jeff Lacey than Floyd Mayweather, do people forget that all he has done is bully smaller fighters, ****ing hell, I might find a flyweight to kick the **** out of then maybe people on a forum will say I'm the next Mayweather?
Well done that was a cracking left hook .Didn't see that happening but that fight has defintley showed his class .
That is the best performance form Ricky Burns by far maybe debatable the best performance from a Scottish boxer ever and I must say sorry to Billy Nelson as I for one in the passed thought he went overboard with his expectations of Ricky Burns but big up the Billy as he seen the bigger picture
all this talk of mitchell being tougher than burns got on my wick. sure mitchell hits hard and hes vicious but he's physically not cut out for that level. both are good boxers but i always said strengh was the key in this fight, never expected the ko tho. i thaught burns wide ud or late tko. ricky burns will keep getting underrated because his ko record is poor and his style doesnt look great, different story when you share a ring with him tho. he's the most teak tough fighter in the uk outside carl froch. it will take a real good fighter to beat ricky burns thats for sure. hats off to him, gem of a guy.
Burns has all the attributes. He's technically sound, throws a wide variety of shots,is super fit and strong, has a good chin, and obviously has more pop than his KO percentage would suggest. Add to that his MASSIVE self belief,i think he's a handfull for anybody at lightweight.
''best performance by a scottish boxer ever''?!?!?! calm yourself mate, he only faught kevin mitchell for **** sake.
rossco666 read the post as i said its debatable if this was the best performance . now there not a poster on here that thought Burns good have ko Mitchell the way he done it was a genuine 50-50 fight for years hence the reason the opinion on the forums . Now rossco please feel free to mention a better fight by a Scottish boxer in recent years
