Its a lot more better than everyone having his/her own top 100 or top 10 for that...

How about this......... Mosley's last win at welterweight before this was vs Luis Collazo 2 years ago. And his last fight before this was at 154..... He shouldn't have even been rated at 147 to begin with. Stop you're bitching.

I'd prefer Mosley be the Ring Champion, but he's obviously the man at Welterweight and a fight with Cotto will get him the Ring Championship anyways.

The longevity argument doesnt do it for me.It WAS the lone voice in the crowd many years ago,and was therefore crucial to the fans. That is no longer the case.
Now,its merely another mag run by normal journalists and writers.why are they greater and more credible than others simply because thet write for the Ring and not, say,Boxing monthly or KO?
There are no survivors from the halcyon Nat Fleischer days.It doesnt deserve its sacred cow status.Delahoya owns it now.Its just a marketing tool.
Why its seen as sacred text in this day and age is beyond me.

Edit;i forgot to mention the ratings scandal of 76.This proves there is nothing holy about the ****er,and its credibility was shot right there for me.
I know none of those involved in the scam still work at the magazine, but neither do the old timers that started its reputation for professionalism and honesty back in the 20's.Lets be consistent here.
Its just another journal in a mass media world.Nothing special.
