Well done Sky, you just destroyed Boxing's reputation to the general public.

This is probably what pissed me off the most when the fight was signed.

We had people saying its good for boxing to be on the back pages and its good to get the casual fans involved. Yes its good but only if there is a good product at the end of it! Listening to Five Live and reading Facebook comments alot of those 'casuals' for which this fight was meant to be good for are pretty pissed off at the money they've spent.

Yep. Hopefully Sky will get it now. Even the casual knows when there being mugged off. I dont blame Haye at all for this. He's looked pissed off from day 1. Isnt this fight the end of the Sauerland contract as well or is there 1 more?

 

the esb writer was called rick, he talked a lot of **** from what I heard, only the casual mugs who paid the £15 will be fuming, anyone with a bit of nouse knew this was gonna happen and watched a free stream

 

I don't like the fact that when this happens the talk is always about the network (Sky) or the fighter (Haye) being frauds. Hey guys, YOU people paid for it. YOU (the people) made it happen because you rewarded them for this mismatch by giving your money. Have no doubt, it will happen again in the future because YOU (the people) are misinformed and easily fooled. If there was a well informed public it would ignore this fight and this PPV would take a loss. But assuming that the masses are educated and rational is wishful thinking.

How about the people stop paying for crap like this and instead reward guys that deserve it:

Pay for Froch-Abraham
Pay for Martinez-Williams
Pay for Marquez-Katsidis
Pay for Khan-Maidana

You get the point........

These are genuine fights with top class operators, taking on the best.

Bunce went on about how this fight put boxing on the back pages, it really hit the mainstream. The BBC, surprisingly, featured it heavily on their website but like Ant says, from reading comments on FB and the BBC website people feel scammed. Sure the people involved have made a ton of money but boxing has let itself down.

I'm not even joking, Anthony Joshua would have put up a better fight than Audley tonight.

 

to be honest lads, anyone who has watched Harrison throughout his career and paid for that tonight has no right to complain about spending their money.

to the general public it is a rip off. total waste of time, though I understand the money.

Haye has again promised to fight one of K2 next year, Booth has confirmed Haye is retiring next October, no more excuses Mr Haye, you're financially secure now, time to step up!

 

It should never have been a PPV! But from a business POV I can see where Sky are coming from, sure they're getting stick at the moment but the casual mugs will forget about it soon enough.

 

it would of been more worthy of people's money if audley was knocked out in the first round.

the first two round's of non action pissed people off then once haye connects and goes on the attack it's over..

it's been a blow to boxing from ppv standards anyway cause we got to see **** all undercard action aswell.

 

Glad I watched the UFC tonight and seen the Haye/Harrison shite online....even worse than Haye v Valuev...didnt think that'd be possible...but thanks for proving me wrong David!

Fair play to Haye and Harrison for getting so many people to waste their hard earned cash on tickets and PPVs...they'll be laughin all the way to the bank!

i paid for the ruiz fight and the valuev fight.

least with ruiz i knew what i was getting.

i knew ruiz would go a fairly long distance in the fight and you'd get value for money.
