Watched the Tua Cameron fight and have to be honest, I couldn't take a lot out of it.

Tua looked to be in the best condition he's been in for years but was never going to be tested by a heavyweight that can only be described a second tier at best.

Tua versus Toney! great matchup, followed by ( assuming Tua wins ) Tua versus Audley Harrison.

Harrison shouldn't pose too much of a problem for Tua and a bout in England would create interest right throughout Europe.

Can he beat one of the Klit's?

Hopefully someone knows. cos I don't!

Julian, wouldn't Audley be a step down after Toney? If he beats Toney I'd like to see him go after a recent title challenger. Just MO

This would be a good fight and would make good money in Aus or NZ, and if Kali is not past it he should give Tua some good rounds, with a good reach and decent punch.

Hopefully he isnt blitzed like he was vs Danny Williams though when Williams just bumrushed him from the bell

Well put man lets judge him againest a better opponent than what was served up the other nite, not taking anything away from Tua looked in good nick then a few previous times he has presented himself :thumbsup
As for taking on Meehan i reckon it would be one hell off a fight Tua would have to be fav but i dont reckon there'd be much in it....

Point taken Phil, however I think with Harrison coming off the heavyweight condender series win (if thats what it's called) I would see it as an opportunity for Tua to raise his profile in Europe en route to a clash with one of the Klits.
A victory over Toney is certainly not a given but it would definetly give him some much needed rounds under his belt.
Regardless of whatever route he takes, Tua has added some much needed oomph to the heavyweight division.

Tua vs Meehan, would this fight do better in NZ or AUS?

Tua vs Cameron was a million dollars fight, how much is Tua vs Meehan worth? is it bigger than Cameron?

I heard Meehan issued a challenge to Tua after his win, it seems like the clear best option out there for both fighters, but all is very quiet on this. Not sure what to think of it.

Yep Tua VS Meehan is much bigger than the Cameron fight....needs to be in AUST....maybe even needs to be in the USA.....it would be even bigger again if the winner gets a shot at the WT.

Is it possible that Tua vs Meehan might be a 2 million fight?
just trying to understand the size of this fight and figuring out the odds of it happening.

Hey Ashley, don't know about putting the fight somewhere in the US, Meehan is barelly known there and Tua has not been around for too long already. The other day Vitali fought Arreola for the belt in a pretty good fight and the arena was not even fillled up. HW boxing is not that high in there.

I'm pretty sure this fight would pack the biggest arena available in NZ, not sure about AUS. Do you guys think it should pack the biggest arena available in Australia too?

This would sell well in Oz.. IMO. Regardless of the TUA victory, it would remain as the only chance for locals to see Meehan take on a man of Tua's stature in the game. Should Meehan happen to win, it would make little impact on his chances of a H/W title fight... Don King would be eager to see Tua take on a banana before giving Meehan a shot at any crown.

    i dunno,

lack of action would leave most average punters asking who the **** is meehan...

Hardly a household name. If they can scrounge up those kind of dollars in NZ for cameron Tua - makes more sense over there...
