    That's EXACTLY what I want to see, as I explained in my earlier post.

    Like it or not, for Holyfield to WIN, that would be GOOD for boxing, as far as getting mainstream attention goes.

    Holyfield beats the giant, gaining attention from the "average joe" fight fan in the US.

    He then fights in a "I've slayed one giant, I'll do it again" fight against Wlad (in which Holyfield will of course lose in spectacular fashion), and now Wlad is more recognized by the average US fight fan, and boxing is on the uptick.

    That's the best scenario I see playing out.

    you sir are a true boxing degenerate.

    as far as holy winning being good for boxing yes and no. yes the win would generate interest in the hw division in the u.s. again. but the downside is if he would likely face wlad, and if he gets brutalized, and seriously hurt which is a distinct possibility, the **** storm that will come from the anti boxing establishment will be huge.

    Hmmm. A chick fight. Interesting. I wouldnt pay 25 dollars to watch Evander try and bodyslam the Giant to collect the $10,000.00 from Bobby Heenan. But it is an interesting fight, being that IF Holy wins, Toney is that much closer to the Title. Free Mandela, baby!:smooch
