    List them!

Adrien Broner.. '4 weight champion'... best win was Paulie or Ponce De Leon?
Gervonta Davis ..'2 weight champion'... best win is Pedraza?
Ryan Garcia ..'Instagram champion' .. best win is Luke Campbell?

Wilder escapes his list by beating a really old Luis Ortiz (who has no big wins himself) twice.

Old timer: Razor Ruddock. Lost to Tyson, Lewis, Morrison... etc. Best win was probably when he decapitated Dokes.

This Generation: Wilder. I’m sorry but Luis Ortiz was most likely forty three or forty four when Wilder struggled with him.

    Zab Judah.

To a certain degree, could say Kell Brook and Amir Khan. Lost every time they stepped up to elite world class opponents.

    Ohh, pupp.

    This is Wilder.
He is below Hunter and Ruiz in legacy fights level.

Depends how you rank Danny Garcia. Solid win.

Zab Judah is a solid pick, Cory Spinks and Matthysse were decent wins but nothing massive.

Kell Brook beat Shawn Porter who was undefeated, nice win. and Khan beat Maidana.

Ike Quartey was probably past it, but he was an excellent fighter. Would beat nearly everyone at 147 today.

i think its the opposite with ryan garcia , he is only 20 and already has a win against a perennial contender in campbell. Thats impressive
Davis is also very young so even though his resume is underwhelming he has time to change that.
today the most obvious examples are crawford who is old already, zurdo ramirez sanchez and menyaothin.

I'd have to say our 'enry Cooper.

From a British perspective he's as well known as any other Brit heavyweight.

Lost twice to Ali (put him on his arse though), Bugner, Paterson, Folley just to name a few.

Fell short at world level but was very well known and much loved.

I'll bet he's still the happy go lucky optimistic bloke upstairs, as he was here on this mortal coil.

Goo-on 'enry, splash it all over son!
