There is no excuse now, fight a tune up and then take this challenge at 175 there are no interesting Matchups for Ward at 168 but there are two punchers up at 175. Things are very hot at 168 and 175 with the emergence of Kovalev there are plenty of exciting matchups to salivate over. The names: Butte, Hopkins, Froch, Pascal, Cloud, Kessler, Stevenson, and Ward, hell a ton of quality for Kovalav, Im on this bandwagon and loking foward to some matchups , what do you guys think?
You guys know more than me, but I'm thinking because he wouldn't move up for Dawson he won't move up for Kovalev, but I don't know the details.
Ward is pretty boring but very skilled like Mayweather, but Ward is in his prime so I have Ward P4P at #1, there is Golovkin if he moves up and Kovalev but I dont see anyone at 168 that would make anyone anticipate or crave a Ward fight.
Ward has been in with some good fighters, but I don't think he's seen anyone like Kovalev. Kessler was very methodical, with a 1-2 arsenal. Froch is strong, but he is a little slow. Kovalev is more fluid than the both of them and is a bit faster. What separates Kovalev from Froch and Kessler is the footwork. Kovalev can move around the ring very easily and is able to close the distance a lot faster. I think it's a 60-40 fight at this point in favor of Ward.
Ward does not have the power to keep Kovalev off him. Kovalev would walk right through Ward and knock him out!!!
