Mitchell is a natural boxer, whereas I think Burns has worked very hard with less talent. Burns seems to be more than the sum of his parts. He reminds me of a successful Rendal Monroe.

Froch lost his belt fighting the best the division had to offer. Burns defends against 3 gimmes and moves.up as soon ad a viable challenger comes. No wonder the lads a 'champ'. Beating a faded Katsidis who came off the back of a ko and a ud beatdown isn't what I class as a defining fight either so enough bragging.

Go call out Rios before he jumps to LWW, beating him would define Ricky. Instead we have to look forward to bull**** defenses of his interim belt. Wahey :-(

Rios stops him imo. Rios hits way, way harder than anyone Burns has been in with. One punch is all it takes the way I see it. Would cheer for Burns like but absolutely convinced its Rios by ko.

id say burns on points in a great fight, rios does hit hard if you stand infront of him but ricky wouldnt do that, rios can also be a bit of a plodder when he has to chase, great fight though no doubt about it

Add me to that list, I had Murray up by a round before the first knock-down. Kevin was never "in control" of that fight until that moment.

A well prepared Kevin Mitchell is unbeatable.
The only question is how many weight divisions would he rampage through?

No, how many sports would he rampage through? Greatest natural athlete of all time, IMO.
