I don't see how, stylistically, he does. If Acosta couldn't keep him off and Antillon couldn't hurt him enough to slow Rios down, what will Ricky do?

I just have a feeling Burns would box the **** out of him if he fought smart, not if he laid static on the ropes as much as he did vs Katsidis though, thats for sure.

Burns wouldn't stand in the pocket with Rios and would box him all night

    What did Tibbs say?

Kevin's a head-case. People conveniently forget his life and death struggle with Johanneson - I'm sure that was down to "not taking it seriously".

Excuse after excuse - not 100%, whatever - he got creamed by Katsidis and Ricky didn't. You're facing the best opponent of your career and you don't take it seriously? Kevin's an idiot and not that good anyway.

I'd even pick Murray to beat him in a rematch.

I'm sure its in response to Tibbs' comments on Ringside on Thursday.

Mitchell should be taking lessons from Ricky on how to life the life of a boxer not a pisshead

Disregard, just saw you posted the video! I didn't think Tibbs was saying anything other than what he believed. Seems a bit petty to have an e-tantrum over it.

not really a tantrum though, Billy doesn't get a lot of national air time compared to the likes of Gallagher and Tibbs do yet Nelson's record over the past few years speaks for itself.

Reading between the lines Tibbs probably isn't telling the full story.

I don't think it was much of a story, that's all. Personally I'd let them talk **** and just say, "let's see what happens in the fight - fitness has nothing to do with it."

How does burns box the **** out Burns?!? Rios ain't no ****ing Katsidis guys!!!

Mitchell is a good fighter but his head is ****ed. I sense he boxes for money rather than glory and when a fighter does that its always a bad thing. He beats everyone in Britain bar Burns but would come unstuck the moment he steps into World level ala Katsidis.

Murray is on the decline. Not having a defense and taking so many punches has burnt him out. One or 2 top fights left in him then he becomes a gatekeeper.

The Acosta that fought Rios is levels above Ricky Burns. Acosta had terrific skills, power and speed.

Burns is tough and would win a few rounds..but Rios would grind him down and stop him late IMO.

For what it's worth, I had Michell 5-2 up against Murray before the stoppage.

Had Murray winning the 2nd and the 5th, but that's all. I've seen it a few times and havent seen nothing to change my mind. Mitchell was producing the cleaner work
