"Because of the weight difference, we can't do a fight with (Kelly) Pavlik. Tito has no interest in fighting at 160-pounds."

"If Oscar De La Hoya is willing to move up to 165-pounds, I have no doubt that Tito would return. That is the type of fight that would motivate Tito," Felix Sr said.

Why is Tito still being mentioned? I dont see him beating any top 5 and deffinitely not pavlik or DLH. He looked terrible against Roy and roy not in his prime aswell.

He also said he wont fight Jermain because it doesn't motivate him. Maybe he knows it would be 4 losses

I don't get it, how are the Trinidads hypocrites? They said they were willing to fight at 165 and not 160. How does that make them hypocrites?

because of the weight difference....Hes not willing to go down in weight but he would deffinitely fight Oscar if Oscar moved up in weight to 165. Yea like Oscar is going to fight a semi retired boxer and meet his demands......this guy is a joke I think he should be meeting demands after his lack luster performance with Roy

Exactly WTF is wrong with him for coming back. He had a decent career and now he is ****ing up his rep by just going for money fights....I dont think this guy had a good retirement plan he should have done a 401K plan but I guess nobody does when they are being managed by Don King LOL

I can't believe Tito is insistant in fighting at such a high weight! He should be at 160 at the most.

Tito needs to get a nutritionist and a strength and conditioning coach ... his lack of focus during camp, holds him back in his conditioning. His body can be full and good at 160 ... but anything above that he's ineffective and has no power, his speed is also diminished since his comeback ... I don't know if he can hurt anyone at supermiddle and he can't out box anyone because of his decline in speed.

Of course Tito would beat Oscar at 165, but who cares. Oscar is probably laughing his ass off of Tito mentioning a fight at that weight. Oscar is fighting at 150 with two huge fights with PBF and possibly Cotto. Tito needs to win a title at 168 or better yet, when a fight!!!!

He never said he was not willng to come down in weight. He said he wasn't willing to go to 160. I see no hypocrisy in that statement.

What??? It is the same answer. Willing, I don't feel like, I'm not motivated, I don't want to......He is just trying to cash out, but he is losing these fights which makes it even worse. Get down to 160 by taking a couple of easy fights and then challenge someone like Sturm.

In other words the Trinidads are saying that if Oscar goes up in weight higher than he's ever been before, knowing how badly he fared at 160, and therefore becomes much more beatable Tito would be interested. Outside of this Tito is retired again.:lol:
