    Good post.

Dawson & Johnson would completely destroy this guy - easily.

I DON'T think his power is overatted huki. I think something was wrong tonight...he always struck me as a very powerful fighter. Today not so much.

I think he's got ENOUGH power to knock Dawson down...maybe not out but definitely rattle Bad Chad.

The only thing wrong with him tonight was Chris Henry. He's not very strong physically because he's not a large LHW and there's no reason to believe he has very good power.

    True. It's ****!

Dawson would destroy this guy. Johnson would too. How can you argue against that now?[/quote]

    Johnson would beat Diaconu 10-2.

Dawson would beat Diaconu 9-3. If Diaconu couldn't get to that shakey chin by the 6th round, Dawson would have a good chance to stop Diaconu on a ref TKO.

    :hi:

Say, huki, are you using Diaconu's sub-par performance as an argument against Dawson v. Diaconu for the WBC title? I hope not!:bart

Decebal, I think you're wrong about a ton of things in that reply.. but I'm too excited about Calzaghe-Hopkins right now to argue and analyze about Diaconu, Henry, and Dawson. I'lll get back to you later. :D

There's no way Diaconu lasts the distance against Dawson. If you want to add another avatar bet we could make a new one with "Diaconu lasts the distance/Diaconu doesn't last the distance".

    I don't. :-(

Unless Mayweather Snr. is right about Dawson's lack of chin AND brains, Diaconu doesn't have more than a 20% chance.

Dawson simply needs to jab all night to win a wide decision.

Still, Diaconu IS dangerous for Dawson, despite what Diaconu-fan huki says. Dawson isn;t mature enough not to make a good couple of mistakes during the first 6 rounds or so, whilst Diaconu is still alive and breathing, and Diaconu is experienced and intelligent enough to take advantage. It might not take more than a couple of good punches and Dawson finds himself in a brawl. He wouldn't fare as well as Henry, that's for sure.

I want to see this fight. I don't care if Diaconu loses. I want to see him against Dawson and I want to see Dawson against him.

Tarver cannot hurt Dawson the way Diaconu can. Diaconu is a bigger threat.

    Let's get it on!:good

Of course he doesn't last the distance.

My pick hasn't changed: Dawson TKO 10.

However, Dawson might not get to see the end of the 6th round if Diaconu gets lucky or if Dawson makes his usual mistakes...

Diaconu has a decent chance (20%) to cause an upset.

You want to see this fight, right?

Dawson would be able to beat Diaconu in an 8 foot ring. Dawson TKO 6.

We'll get to it later.. Calzaghe-Hopkins is just a few hours away!

Yeah, I know. Then, he'd KO Haye and Klitschko.

huki, let's see Dawson against a dangerous puncher (at least as good and dangerous as Diaconu, limited and unfit as he might be) and then we'll talk!;)

I've always said Diaconu isn't a dangerous puncher and I'll stick to that.

Of course I would love to see the fight. I can't wait until it happens.
