the possibility of a knockout for mayweather - mosley happening either way has lessened now that they're using the huge padded grant gloves :roll:
It just seems to be the norm these days. It's like playing with a homecourt advantage. When Floyd fought Oscar he was at Oscar's mercy. When Pac fought Cotto there was an advantage for Pac since the fight was at a catchweight. When you're on top of the food chain you get benefits - just like superstar basketball players get calls in their favor. Do I applaud it? NO. But here's the thing - nobody forced Mosley into agreeing with Floyd. Shane obviously feels he can still win with Grant gloves. So support him and let him do his thing. It's time we stop acting like overprotective parents and just try to enjoy a historical fight. Don't be so uptight. It isn't fun to watch when you're jumping out of your seat to file a complaint for every small advantage or disadvantage that you think warrants a strong reaction.
Im pretty sure you can still knock someone out with those gloves. The accumulation of damaged is probably where the biggest difference would be.
Well, the chances of somebody knocking somebody out went from a 2% chance to a 1% chance...in other words, wasn't nobody gettin' KO'd anyway.
