I will use that song for the next video Royal T Bag. Chauncy Welliver to Killing Me Softly, rallying the children of the world to rise up and stamp out hunger in their generation, For Everyone. I Have A Dream!

Chauncy and Susan Boyle are the True World Leaders.

So are u saying he was winning vs. Solis?

I saw that fight...I mean he was throwin but was hittin gloves mostly and his punches looked like they had no pop, NONE

I do think it was stopped a few seconds too short...he was rocked, maybe coulda gone down eventually... but I do agree I woulda given him more time and seen what occurred if I were the ref

He was losing the fight though I personally had it 2 rounds to 6 at the time of stoppage. He probably loses that round and is in the territory f needing a knock down at least, which I don't think he'd have gotten. He was too fat there at 283 and he wasn't even really training like a pro. People need to realize though, for a man at 283 pounds to motor with an Olympic Champion and be in position to go the distance, shows what kind of shape he was in even then. And that's what I think happens and should have happened is Solis wins a wide decision if the ref did not jump the gun. At least let a fighter who has never been dropped or stopped have the benefit of goibng down before stopping him. F, he could have taken a knee and gotten a count and went on there. It made no senses except Team Solis rigged the ref to want to hook him at the slightest opening. You don't protect guys like Welliver, he has a f'n corner to do that. Do your job like a pro if you are going to ref pro matches.

Yeah, that's what he did :nut

What's the next excuse gonna be? :-(

I understand you're Welliver's fanboy here, but you going on like this is just embarrasing. Not even Chauncy himself whines and bitches and just invents random BS much as you do.

David Haye is incapable of throwing enough punches to beat Welliver. The dude doesn't have the stones anyways. He wants another lay down pay day without risking anything. He'll probably quit against Vitali and flee the ring like Mensah.

Messer: has Welliver ever been cut in his fights? If so, how did he cope with that...did he keep his cool?

I'm not sure. I know how he'd cope though....he'd keep fighting. He would not Rahamn it like he did against Toney on Versus.

He seems like a nice guy but is the most overrated club fighter in the world.

DrMo, if he is overrated it is time for a top 5-10 HW to take him on and prove it. He deserves his chance with fair notice in a big fight.

Rahman is #1 WBA for beating Galen Brown....took him a whole nother round than Welliver to stop him. F that ****. Chauncy kills Rahman without any doubt at all.

Briggs beats Rob Calloway and gets a Vitali beating for it? Chauncy would have kicked his arse for that spot too.

These older HW's are some dirty scoundrels. Tua, Rahman, Briggs, Barrett, Meehan. All of those clowns have been avoiding Welliver because they know he is the end of their careers.

Chauncy did make the fight competitive and was obviously in terrible shape. That fight made me a fan of him. I never heard of him prior to that fight and I was following Solis at the time and seen the fight. At first I was like "oh man look at that fat piece of #rap, this is going to be quick" Then as the fight went on, I was like wow, "that fat guy has mad skills, to bad he's in bad shape".

Chauncy is just looking to fight the guys we say he should be fighting.

Why has no other fighter put there hand up to fight him????

Thats all I want to know really.:deal

Welliver will get a fight with Banks, or Pala, or Meehan sometime this year. Hell, he could get Barrett or Tua if he'd take a smaller cut and could have fought Monsour if he'd taken 35K.

He'll beat any of the above named fighters so long as he's got notice and there are no paid ref to waive a fight off while hes in the high guard and takes several unanswered arm shots while waiting for an opening.

In all fairness, Chauncey bypassed his amatuer career to become a pro and sparring partner. This is the main reason for his inflated somewhat weak resume.

Had he remained an amatuer until 23-24 he'd likely be about 25-1 with a much better looking resume, but afterall, the kid had a family to support.

Like many fringe contenders Chauncey should look to take a chance against a Pala or a Leapei or a Meehan, while putting his titles on the line for shorter money in an effort to get that meaningful win that would leapfrog him in the rankings and get the K2 to take notice.:deal

    War Panda........take 20K less to make 200K more.:good
