    I just spoke with my man Chauncy Welliver, and he finally has a fight lined up for July 18th against Former Cruiserweight champ "Concrete" Kelvin Davis. The fight will be in Rocky Boy, Montana.:bbb

    Didn't Davis break his back about a year or two ago. Believe he was training for Terry Smith. Easy fight for Welliver.

    I am sad to hear that Davis is fighting again. He was a good fighter at one time but tough fights in the ring and that bad injury took too much out of him.

    He did it down here in NZ while training for Shane Cameron. Pity it would have been a good fight too IMO

    interesting fight, davis weakness is his chin, but welliver is not a puncher, so could be a good fight

    It's a gateway fight for potential fringe contender status in the HW division against 2 evenly matched opponent.

    How does a guy with a Glass Jaw like Davis have a nickname of 'Concrete'? He is anything but concrete.

    i think chauncy will win, but only if he is in shape,which i think he will be, davis is small but very game, a draw with shufford shows he is not a total waste at heavyweight.
