i felt that davies had a good chin he just had a dodgy defence and a flat footed style. wilson lined him up and dropped him down. fields basicly ripped into him and he still got up...

he just cant get out the way of the punches whic is what i think is a clear sign that he is shot...and i mean real shot. not off performances or 3 losses in a row type thing i mean he is losing his ability and talent as the fights roll on.

Chauncy will take this one, I have full confidence in him. Great guy, real class act. I spoke with him not too long ago and he said that he will be in good shape for this fight. He was sparring a bit with Valuev not too long ago.

:nono ****ed up thing to say dude. Chauncy is a good guy, nice as hell. And besides, with the titties, he still gets to **** all the ring card girls he wants. He took the Solis fight on two weeks notice so there was no time to train.

I absolutely love Chauncy Welliver.....1 of the truely great people in the sport. This will be his 1st Main Event headline fight. Hopefully the card goes well and he can line up a casino behind him on a permanent basis.

As for Davis...he jumped off that bridge in NZ but he is recovered and still a former world champion. He has enough IMO to make it a very entertaining fight for the fans at the show but in the end I think Chauncy will outclass him and win a pts victory.

I am still very pissed off that Chauncy has a KO loss on his record when he still has never hit the F'n floor.....Solis did not knock him out! Welliver has a chin on the same type of level as Oliver McCall IMO.

Yeah. He was training to fight Shane Cameron I believe. He was doing roadwork on railroad tracks in New Zealand, and a train came, so he had to jump off a bridge.

Davis isn't even a gatekeeper at this point. He's completely and utterly shot. He's lost something like his last 8 fights.

The further Davis is away from his injury the stronger he should be IMO. He's a great fight for a young guy because he is a former world champion no matter what. For Montana fight fans this is a nice reason to hit the casino on a Saturday night. Hopefully Chauncy can win this 1 and get a nice streak going. I also hope he can get a consistent venue to fight at and build a nice fan base in the NW but knowing him he probably wants to get back to fight in NZ too. Even this fight has NZ ties with the bridge deal and all so maybe 1 day we'll see Chauncy fight someone like Cameron....a Weliiver win streak and a Cameron loss to Tua could produce such a bout relatively soon. Gotta notch this 1st former world champion onto his belt this week though to get headed that way.

I agree with everything you just said. Chauncy is a great guy, class act, and he does not deserve to have a ko loss on his record.
