Steel Hammer vs The Boxing Panda who has never been down in 331 HW Rounds. I plan to retire off the over/under. I think Chauncy will be looked at lightly and it will go off around 7 or 8 rounds. Welliver will push the pace, Drago Wlad into deep waters, and then shatter his jaw like Titanic in the 11th round. He may have to put him down more times than Sam Peter, but once he knocks Wlad off his equilibrium it is all over. Welliver will finish the job once he starts it with his swarmer attack. It may not be the prettiest attack in the world, but damn, when you have a bulldozer for a chin, you run it into the mix and make mince meat of the opponents mid section.

Even though everyone vs a Klitschko is a long shot, it is high time we send in an opponent with a monster chin and the desire to throw the necessary workrate to chop down a Klitschko. Everybody should know by now that you cannot run from K2, you need a guy that is going to clash with them constantly, brawl with them on the inside, and body slam the F out of them if necessary. I am nominating Chauncy Welliver for the task in December. After he busts another good HW up in China in September, he will be prime ready for Wlad. If not a fight or 2 after that. He's rated to face both of em. :bbb

Welliver is more established IMO than Chisora. Yes, his win loss does not have Sam Sexton or a Dino Danny Williams, but his sparring credentials is way off the chart compared to Chisora. Even, Tyson Fury is much more experienced than Chisora, and I feel he will beat him. Then the hat is open. Welliver is growing his name in China each time out, he has titles covering 4 continents, he is a world fighter rather than a regional stay home guy. He's close to his shot even if it is not this year. Maybe a win or 2 away.

Wlad is only a man. Even Doctors are tempted by the flowers of The Orient. Alot could depend on how tight he is with his GF. Tyson just wanted a blow job, and so did Tiger Woods, that never tunrs out well. You never know. Bwahahahahaha

No, but Chauncy does post on here from time to time, mostly in the Aussie forum. Can't remember his username though.

Did you actually see the fight? Yes, he was grossly out of shape that fight, but after taking a foreign fight on short notice he still held his own and at no point was even close to being hurt. It was a BS hometown stoppage. Since then, he's lost nearly 50 pounds and won 14 in a row, usually in his opponent's backyard, including some decent fighters (though no top 20 types).

He shouldn't be facing a Klitschko soon, but I wouldn't mind seeing him get a shot against a top 10 fighter in the near future.

Mercer was a shell of himself when he fought Wlad. Kimbo Slice beat him too. But at least we agree Kung fu Panda has no chance vs Wlad.

He has lost 50 pounds since then. Joe Hipp has him lean and mean and knocking guys out. Nobody doubts Rahman's power, but Galen Brown gained 12 pounds in a month after Welliver stopped him in 5, and he went 6 with Rahman. Tauasa was a former CW Contender TV Series guy and had gone 12 earning a majority decision loss to Sosnowski for a minor HW world title in the WBF.

Tua is WBO #3 or 4 now. Welliver has been his interim champion for well over a year. Tauasa is Tua's cousin. Chauncy has been working in China by busting up Tua's cousin in front of millions. Eventually, perhaps Tua will take the challenge that he has so far denied for quite awhile. Or another opportunity will come up. Welliver can defend HW titles on 4 continents if need be. :bbb

Height is a great asset, especially for the big guys from the Ukraine. But Heart beats height almost every time. I will prove this for you.
