Floyd probably would have stopped him late. Maybe in 11 or 12. I don't see a quick knockout coming. Cotto was sharp to start the fight, despite struggling with the weight. It just would have been accumulation and picking Cotto apart over the course of the fight, the same way it will be on Cinco De Mayweather at 154lbs. Cotto will be sturdier and more comfortable at 154lbs, but he still has a deficient defense and that's going to hurt him.
You are 100% incorrect with this. Seriously. Cotto looked fragile against Pacquiao and it had a lot to do with trying to get his career back on track, training himself for the Pacquiao fight. All the psychological factors that a fighter needs to overcome in order to be sharp were not overcome when Cotto fought Pacquiao. Cotto fought Pacquiao with his giant balls and warrior heart and thats all he had. Now Cotto has gotten back on his feet, silenced his demons, recovered a real camp/team/trainer, and is psychologically and physically on point. No longer weight drained and no longer faded. Cotto at 154 is MUCH stronger than Cotto at 145.
He looked like **** against Clottey too, who by the way comes into welterweight fights at about what 170lbs or some ****? Give me a break, Cotto fought that brick wall off his back foot and again, my post above, he was rebuilding his career after having his career nearly ended by that ****** Margarito. Cotto could rematch Clottey at 154, which should probably be Clottey's real weight and he'd **** his head up for 12 rounds easily.
The Cotto that Pac fought would have beaten any other welterweight in the history of boxing, other than Pac. FACT!!!
