    47'-49' robinson beats middle weight roy jones..but barring a mental lapse or luck light heavy roy beats middle weight sugar ray.

    Roy barely even had any fights at MW, he was quite green at 160 iirc. Prime Roy was at SMW really. By the time he was at LHW, Roy was slightly slower and less explosive, he got dropped by Lou De Valle, one of the worst titleholders in LHW history. The only legit banger he fought was Tarver, and while he squeaked by in the first fight, he did get demolished in the second. I think pretty much any version of Robinson under 40 gives Roy fits and beats him either by decision or KO, depending how he chooses to approach Roy.
