I think it would do wonders for the sport.
Who you put in it (not just because everyone wants to see them fight, e.g obviously mayweather n pac gna be on everyones list, but people who you think would make it intersting, make good fights, a few underdogs)

pacman and pbf wouldnt do super six welter as there is too much too losse, and you know there would be some corruption in the judging so that they would go throught the stages.

It would obviously be a dream come true if this was to ever occur.

However, unlike the Super Middleweight division, the Welterweights are rich and deep with talented, exciting and big names of the sport. For this reason, the elite fighters of the division won’t feel obliged to enter such a tournament, simply because there will always more rewarding options existing on the table. There would never be a shortage of finding an exciting opponent outside the proposed 6 of the tournament.

The Super Middleweight division however lacks this vigour of the Welterweights. That’s why this tournament was the most viable choice for the person competing in it, simply because there would never be anything else better for them.
