Obviously the great welterweights of the 50's would do well in today's welterweight division, just like they would in any other time period, but how do the welterweight contenders of the 50's stack up against today's welterweight contenders?

I think I'd make Graham and Dykes favourites over anyone at welter today.

The rest, whilst likely to lose to Pac and Mayweather, would beat everyone else (Cotto, Mosley, Margarito etc.)

And you can add the likes of Ralph Dupas and Del Flanagan to that list of 50's contenders I'd pick over today's welter contenders.
