This is unacceptable for what people think is the future of boxing.
Kell Brook win is overrated on Spence’s resume because although Spence was inexperienced, Brook was coming down from 160. If they fought before Brook fought Golovkin, Spence would have lost.
I'd say we know what Avanesyan's limits are. He's a fringe contender, stuck in a limbo between European and world level, capable of snagging a strap in the right circumstances (weaker titlists have certainly been known), but it's unlikely those circumstances will present themselves in the current welter landscape.
No Spence would always beat Brook who was the best Welterweight in the world and world champion when Spence made him quit. Argue it all you want but that is the Truth EJ the Truth made Special K the reigning champion quit in Sheffield because he is a special fighter.
