I think we saw how "ambitious Spence is" with his drunk Mario Andretti act. Didn't really care about himself or any innocent bystander
I'm not a hater, I just can't recall a top pound for pound guy whose resume was so lack luster. Who is his best win? The past it midget Gamboa? The stiff postman? It's really a joke of a resume for some one of his stature.
Spence, ambitious??? LOL the moron speaks with his eyelids half open all the time mumbling in a slow southern drawl. Plus he has an alcohol problem Who cares about these bums? Lets just get the crappy unfication fight over with so they stop being cowards. I'm sure it will be so lackluster it willl make Hearns and Leonard want to come back to show them what a real WW fight is
An ambitious man doesn't attempt "to take the easy road by fighting Shawn Porter" - nice try though. Okay humor me something - at what age will Spence eventually fight the younger Canelo Alvarez then realistically? Give me a breakdown on the route to building up his size correctly to handle a full fledged MW opponent like Canelo?
Judgement or lack there of and commitment to training or lack there of are part of what makes someone a great boxer. To this point Spence has not exhibited either. To act like they are separate paths shows you don't understand boxing
Since P4P is merely a subjective list and everyone can find someone they believe does or does not belong. The fact is that Crawford's accomplishments, whether they meet your standards or not, have not been done by many of the currently active boxers. Claiming all four belts in a division had not been accomplished for a long time and certainly not by anyone active. So okay he is NOT P4P in the top 5. Feel better. When you are talking about his "thin resume" explain why you weren't bitching about Mikey Garcia when he would not fight Crawford at 140. Five pounds was a no go but fighting Spence at 18 pounds different was okay. Instead of complaining about Crawford all the time how about trying to push for Spence against Crawford. If he is not great like you think then it should all come out in the wash shouldn't it.
Spence is an excellent trainer with outstanding ring IQ. He has never missed weight and always comes into fights in great shape. Your point on judgment does not seem to be boxing related but casting aspersions on a man’s character which is uncalled for.
Spence or Crawford will reign supreme until Vergil “symba” Ortiz returns from the wild no longer a man cub.
He is admittedly not training well between fights and his out of the ring actions speak for themselves. No one is "casting aspersions" you can see it and hear it for yourself
That is not true. He trains well between fights but he is a massive welterweight. There is a difference. However he has never failed to make the weight.
