I'd say 147 just got a little bit better. '54 can have Cintron's sorry ass.

Welterweight is not becoming the weakest division in boxing. Let's wait and see Cotto comeback, I'm very confident he'll be back the same way he was before (if not better technically) then we can also watch Mosely's next move, and of course the winner of Hatton/Pacquiao are probably going to have a big fight at welterweight (wether it be Mayweather if he comes back or the winner of Mosel/Cotto II)

still though P-Will hasn't fought at 147 since beating Quintana, amd Margarito could be irrelevant a while cuz of suspension

it's not the worst, but Welter just might be in a slight decline.

Welterweight division is in an interesting position.... While many of the big names are either moving up in weight, unfortunate circumstances, and watever u wanna call Kermit Cintron, this division does have a few prospects that may be ready to step up.... And other unknown entities that are in position to step up or try 2.... or need 2... you get the point...

    Mike Jones
    Jackson Bonsu
That Abregu guy that Baldomir trains
    Soto-Karass
winner of Rodriguez/Alvarez maybe even tho I don't think much of Shamone Alvarez....
    Issac Hlatshwayo

There's a fight with Jose Luis Castillo against the comebacking Antonio Diaz which will definitely be a make or break fight for Castillo.... And for Diaz to some degree, but moreso for Castillo....

When you add that Cotto is there, Mosley is there for now, Berto is there, Collazo made his presence felt, Clottey is there..... It's still not a bad division.... Mosley/Cotto 2 could happen... Berto/Collazo 2 could happen.... this division is still a good division... It's not as bad as heavyweight or 160, but it's not Super Middleweight....

agreed, i won't go as far as calling 147 bad.

but with Margarito and Williams out of the picture .. and Clottey seemingly having trouble getting the big names to face him.

that leaves us left with Cotto, Mosley (these 2 probably should fight later this year) and the still rising Berto

regarding the other names, I heard Judah-Quintana might be on in March .. dunno the truth to it.

Pacquiao has to get by Hatton, before he can even think about going back up to 147 again

and Collazo, well been there, done that (he's 0-2 in his last 2 title fights). Plus I'd rather see Soto-Karass or Hlatshwayo in a title fight ..because Collazo just comes up short. And the pity train it creates is hard to bear.

It's still a good decision but its allure isn't what it was a couple years back.

kelly and AA would not fight...those two would just hand pick opponents..expect them to never go past 6 rounds in the next two years..

SSM's performance has woken WW. But AM is out and probably won't be able to come back, poor *******. If Cotto can return strong following his beatdown from AM and PW can come back to fight SSM there are some interesting fights. Berto could end up being better than his last performance and PBF might decide to make a fight with someone who has a shot.

HW is shite and there are some other weak divisions.

122 looks very promising, but I think if Vic tries to step up he will get nailed by Vasquez. If Vic gets a fight with Montiel that will be a great fight while it lasts.

MW has Mundine coming down in weight and Pavlik and AA.

Once again HW suck dogs balls.

It's still a good division, Margarito didn't really represent the division for it to be "dead" now, are you from Tijuana too?

Mosley is the champion now, Margarito goes down and is a disgrace to the sport. Mosley took his spot by knocking his ass out, nothing is different, just that Mosley replaced a fraud and knowing Mosley he's there to make all the best fights possible. Unlike this banned fraud who openly ducks guys that whopped his ass and gets called a gladiator for it.

Are you on drugs? There are so many good fights to be made in that division. It's still the most talented and deepest division in boxing.
