1.What's going on with the welterweight belts? -Crawford is in camp to compete at the 154lb division. Is there plans for him to drop back down after August 2? I know when he became undisputed at 140lbs, he remained the belt holder until the Horn fight was made official and then they were vacated for him to move up. I don't see anything specifically discussing his titles. Anyone have any info or links regarding the subject. I'll put it out there, I thought it was B.S. that the IBF stripped an Undisputed Champ of their belt less than 2 months from him beating the former title holder. Especially being that there are IBF champs in other divisions that had their titles with out mandatory fights for over 2 years. 2.Brian Norman Jr. -Decent talent that isn't talked about a whole lot outside of him sparring with a few big names an alleged success against them. Had a bout last night in which he beat a top 5 welterweight yet he's no where close to getting a title shot unless the plan is to elevate him from Interim WBO when/if Crawford is to vacate or be stripped. Honestly, I don't know why a fight of Norman vs Ennis hasn't been put in the atmosphere. 3.Broner/Cobbs -Am I the only one who didn't know anything about this match up until this week.....lol. J/P. We got 3 names associated with this fight that I honest think are well past the relevance prime...... Don King, Adrien Broner, & Blair Cobbs (well, Cobbs has never had a relevance in my opinion)... I thought Broner was going back to 140 (where he should be), but apparently, that "Uncle" belly isn't going anywhere at his age so he gotta stay put.
