I actually made a different pick to you on Williams-Quartey, but im glad to see that you see that Williams is a sloppy fighter, ive been pointing it out for a bit, there's no sharpness to many of his shots, especially his jab, which i feel is inacurate.

Man, every single welter from 1998 beats easily any of the 2008 welters. I mean, you surely can't really expect Oscar or Tito to lose against Antonio, Miguel or Paul... And then Pernell takes all of them to school including Mayweather. I suppose just Quartey and either Miguel Cotto or Antonio Margarito would be a hell of a match, much better than De La Hoya vs Quartey was.

    Trinidad would beat Margarito

Trinidad hits harder then anyone Margarito has ever faced and if anyone could stop him Tito could. Tito cracked alot of chins in his time.

Williams would've won clearly against a 1998 Whitaker, who's getting overrated in this thread- the coke had got to him, his career was winding down anyways, and he'd been on the slide for 2 years by that point. The De la Hoya fight in 97 was essentially lightning in a bottle.

Yeah really. I could see him beating Cotto but Williams is just to big to awkward and to active for an old Pea.
