I know. I been trying to figure this out myself as well. I just don't believe the story that he rang up Usyk's team and negotiated with them and got a deal done. Only idiots believe that. Must be something to do with Kinahan but can't figure out how it all ties up. Spencer Brown is sat there like a fatty taking all the credit from everyone for bringing everyone together and negotiating 100m dollar fights. Fack off. He probably hasn't done anything of the sort. He's probably a glorified receptionist taking calls and passing messages on. Greasy cuunt.
That sort of talk will get you in trouble, you slaaaag (Sorry, I can't separate Spencer Braaaahn and Big Vern - https://viz.fandom.com/wiki/Big_Vern)
He was a merchandise and events bloke who Tyson put in touch with DK when DK had the bounty put on his head and needed someone to be the face of his operations whilst hiding in the background. He’s basically a front for DK who’s still pulling the strings with the folk in the Middle East.
I'm baffled as to why the Saudis would want or need involvement from that crowd though? Trillionaires being praised every week at events arranged by a used car salesman?
But that doesn't answer the question on Brown. Maybe they just think there are some useful people in boxing just now while they build things up, who will take their money and exit stage left when Saudi figure out how to do it themselves?
Was just having a look at the undercard and the highlight for me will be Buatsi beating the crap out of Hutchinson. The guy seems like a proper knobhead.
Cacace v Warrington. Cacace massively underrated fighter and has been for years and Warrington looked very good against wood until he got caught. Cacace is on another level technically to wood though. Hutchinson v buatsi. Buatsi has hardly set the world alight and it's disappointing that yarde swerved this fight but Hutchinson is a very skilled fighter and don't be surprised if he upsets the apple cart again. Kelly v Smith. Now this is really intriguing. Kelly again very good technically but if Smith starts to put it on him will the flashbacks start from the avanesyan fight.
why would the Saudis want to do it themselves? Turki can just use the existing infrastructure to do what he wants, using promoters as his minions. we’re just fortunate that he has good taste.
