wen doing pushups/chinups how much rest

    i like to do like 10 sets of different types of pushups 2-3x a week howmuch rest shud i do between each set

    As short as possible, perhaps that stamina of yours will one day improve.

    Depends really, if you want to condition your arms do alot of reps with less sets, and rest for a good minute

    i am into lifting but im trying everything to get my cardio up. nd ya thnaks everyone for the input.

    Ever considered roadwork instead of pushups? :lol:

    reps, sets, frequency, rest, etc depends on your goals (basically what bodi said). Doing 10 sets of pushups and pullups won't increase your stamina.

    Well technically anything that gets your heart rate constitutes as 'cardio'. That's why there is the saying that if you can do more than 10 reps of an exercise you're conditioning.

    i don't take any rest, i keep on working because i hate to think anyone is training harder than me, it's your decision but you have to embrace pain, make it your friend.

    just do as much as u an in the littlest amount of time. i'm sure that won't hurt. if ur asking how many days to rest in between, u can do body exercises day after day
