I thought he had according to the roster page on wiki bit maybe that's wrong. Feel sorry for him though, he's had two horrible style match ups.
Well he's been given two pretty solid guys after years out, years removed from his physical prime and coming off a bad injury. There's never much allowance for ring rust in the UFC, so Einemo is ****ed I thought he gave a commendable and fun, if sloppy, performance against someone right up for some of the same in Herman. Very enjoyable scrap.
Cain-Mir is a number one contender fight Cain is a big-time injury risk Werdum is the Number 3 contender Werdum is in a meaningless match that could easily be cancelled at short notice You do the math
I agree that Werdum is one of the best in the world but that doesn't matter. JDS and Overeem are the priority. Cain and Mir are next in line. I'm not sure where the UFC place Carwin in the mix. Plus, I don't think they like Werdum. In fairness to Russow, I think he may have been the underdog in his last 3 fights. I think this is just a keep busy fight. The travesty is if they place it high up the card as something it isnt.
To be fair to Russow, he's earned a shot at taking a fight higher up the ladder, he put away two undefeated fighters in Duffee and Madsen who both looked hot prospects going into fights with him. It's a stay busy fight for Fabricio, but one he could lose if he treats it as such.
If he underestimates Russow as he did Dos Santos, he's in for a hard night. Especially if he comes in looking like a fat slob.
I hpe Werdum doesn´t underestimate Russow if he shows up in goods shape the fight should be easy for him but if he comes into the fight fat and with no gameplan..... Russow isn´t a good fighter but he has a good chin, knockout power and has a good gameplan he shouldn´t posses much of a danger to Werdum but he got the power for a lucky punch
