That's the problem. He put the ref in a difficult position. Vera was mounted, lying on his side covering his head with his hands. We've seen many fights stopped where a fighter ends up like that. Granted, once the fight was called and Vera got up it became apparent that he probably wasn't all that hurt. But, the ref has to make a quick call and doesn't have the luxury of hindsight. Regardless, Werdum sure deserves credit. He mounted Vera with ease and dominated him on the ground.
exactly...i mean **** , i don't like that ref either...But Vera wasn't reacting , i can understand how pissed he was but like you said...the ref was in a difficult position...Vera was simply not responding at all...
yes it's the same guy...he should be fired imo and if not...he seriously needs to do some adjustements. but i'll repeat it again , Vera wasn't helping his case at all...
