    The Americans? They're busy doing well in light welterweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and cruiserweight at the moment. I'm just being honest.

    You think so?

    LWW agreed, now that Pacquiao and Hatton arent there, they are doing better

    WW Pacquiao is the top man, Maywheather 2nd but there are good guys coming through in Brook, Senchenko, Zavek, Aydin, Jackiewicz

    MW not so sure, Martinez from Argentina is considered to be around the top, but look at the other world champs IBF S Sylvester, WBA S Champ F Sturm, Pirog has just won the WBO belt, and there is a wealth of top European MWs

    LHW, surely your not forgetting the top LHW Zsolt Erdei?

    CW doing a bit better with Cunningham, but thats only because Adamek and Haye moved up and remember Cunningham split a couple of close fights with Wlodarczyk and really needs a decider to find who is the best

    Is this post slightly tongue in cheek? i'd love to agree with it, but at LHW you have Dawson and WW Mayweather. Both undefeated. I'd agree that US can't really boast about MW, but Dawson and Mayweather are the men in their divisions.

    Thompson = schooled and lining to get another shot, fighting low/medium opposition
    Arreola = schooled and schooled again
    Chambers = schooled -> should move down...
    Austin = Undeserved mandatory after beating who?
    Holyfield = No comment
    Johnson = Schooled and disappeared
    Toney = MMA + Mcd + BK
    Briggs = In line to be schooled

    Seriously, schooled? I thought he did well, was a competitive fight. I think that fight gave him the experience he needs.

    Who cares?

    Tell me this, if we were fortunate to have top 10 HW fighters who had the skills and talents of greats gone by right now but none of them were American would it matter. It shouldn't but the problem is some people would still cry.

    Thats the issue, people don't always support good fighters, just fighters from their area or country. So sad

    Competitive? Agreed he can box well but he just didn't do that in his last fight. He didn't want to win, he was surviving the whole 12. If Sosnowski and Arreola were looking to survive, they could've last the full 12 too, but they didn't, they took chances and actually wanted to win the fight...

    The talent is there for them but the discipline isn't for most of them. Plus once they step up to face the Klitschkos most of the time they get beaten.......badly.
