That video was lovely and sad at the same time. Im so happy to see that Ernie's doing well and happy. I wish I could come to England just to tell him how much of a legend one man thinks he is and maybe buy him a pint.
I remember I was finishing school in Davenport, Iowa when Michael Nunn was arrested for having coke worth $24,000. The guy got a damn stiff sentence of 292 months because of his past drug run ins with the law. It was kind of sad to see things turn out that way for him.
Mark Kaylor lives in Chino, California. He got into trouble a few years back, he was a soccer coach and was arrested after getting into a fight with the father of one of the kids.
I saw Tommy Hearns last fight in Feb 06. He didn't look too good. He won, but anyone halfway decent would beat him at this point, I think. No title for him. Let his son have the glory.

Cool article. For some reason, I'm a little sad he and Leon aren't a little closer. But he seems to be enjoying retirement.
That Klan stuff ruins it for me. Every Black person telling a story now says they were chased out of south by Klan. All are still alive, somehow. I followed Shavers when he first came up till when he retired, never heard that Klan story. He may have told it, but I never heard it. In th e90's it was every celebrity swearin ghtey were stopped by police for driving just cause they were Black. Now it's 'The Klan chased me/my parents" when i was kid.
Troubles outside the ring The fight with Austin proved to be Scott's farewell, as he has since hit another major legal roadblock. Scott was convicted of murder for an incident in 2004 in Albany's South End [3]. According to the New Nation News, Scott was discovered "standing over the body of a 59-year-old woman when they arrived at the scene, police said. As she did almost every day, Dorothy Royal collected bottles and cans. Royal was beaten and sexually assaulted by a former boxing heavyweight contender, Jo-el Scott. He has been charged with her murder. Scott, a convicted ****** who prosecutors contend was high on crack cocaine following an all-night binge, allegedly grabbed Royal and began pummeling her, breaking bones in her face as he sodomized her on the ground. A passer-by heard Royal's screams and called 911, but two arriving officers who said they saw Scott standing over her body were unable to prevent her death." [4] In addition to his recent run-in, Scott was also inplicated in a 1995 hit-and-run that left a 4-year-old in a coma [5]. He got life in prison.

I heard a few years back Harding had been banned from entering half the pubs in Sydney. A bloody shame, was a genuine nice guy but got carried away on the booze.
