Agreed... too watered down today. Too prone to niggling injuries, colds & flu's and any othr thing that can go wrong. FFS! If a kid today went through what Trevor King endured, then he's a warrior.

Even twenty years ago you got a flu you sweated it out today they rest and take fluids. I had bad flu in September, sick for 3 days, sweated out in sauna for 30 minutes next day brand new. So still works.

If you had sore shoulders, you used to train soreness out, now they gotta go to physiotherapy.

Lionel Rose went in to Harada fight with crook hand, he said something like "every fighter goes into a fight with a nagging injury".

    Different breed altogether.

I'd love to see Dave Sands v Johannes Mwetupungu, Mickey Tollis v Victor Chermous, Frank Flannery v BW Smith and Elly Bennett v no boxers rated.

Sands vs Mwetupungu is logical enough.
Elley vs no boxres rated is the most logical. :D

    George Barnes vs Wale Omotoso
    Tommy Burns vs Shannan Taylor
    Charkey Ramon vs Troy Waters

    Train soreness out

Sweat sickness out, yet you waited 3 days to do it

Humans have some along way since using those primitive methods

No.. if the crowds didn't attack Sands and Maquire afterwards, the floods would get them anyway.

    ..take it to Newcastle.

I'd back Kimweri over Hancock, Butwell or Hill
Mundraby might see the kind side of Elley... until 15 seconds was left in the fight. Nye Nye Fred.
Barnes all the way. The man was relentless.. IMO, one of the fittest fightest this country has produced. Chew on that Teke..
