Were Bagueley and Khalid robbed last night?

    Quick question......

I was under the influence of a couple too many cans of San Miguel last night, but watching those two fights clearly had those two winning.

    Does anyone else agree?

We need a scoring judge at ringside for every fight - let the referees referee.

bagueley was a lot closer than the khalid one,
khalid defo robbed, and the ref knew it,looked really sheepish when they read out score cards.

the other could of been a draw, but i was under the influence as well

i gave bagueley every round but it was real close i just liked his workrate, i wouldnt have argued with a draw but Goodwin winning was bad

khalid i felt was real good and won 3-1 but since he was a journeyman agsainst a home unbeaten fighter he had to lose, Ingle thought he won.

Khalid stood the guy on his head, really schooled him.

Dominic Ingle's face just said it all. A mixture of thinking he was on Candid Camera and just disbelief.

It was the same ref yeah? Does he have something against the Ingles? Khalid was definitely robbed. I did feel the Baguley fight was very close and open to interpretation.

I think it was the same referee, yes.

I can understand people saying that the second fight was a draw, but Khalid made the other guy look stupid.

A lot of people bang on about house fighters/prospects getting the close decisions, but it is ****ing wrong.

I agree, surely the board shouyld review such cases, especially when its live on TV ffs! It makes a mockery of the sport.

Quick question - who actually pays the referee and judges?

Is it the promoter, or the board?

I feel the board should always pay the officials, accounted for by the sanctioning fees payable....

A single ringside judge for every fight as well - in this instance, and every other TV fight there is no excuse, with 3 guys already there to score Murray vs McAllister.

Khald won hands down...it got me think you look at these guys with unflattering records and end up in the 'journeyman' bracket...perhaps if they weren't robbed against hometown fighters so much then their records would actually be pretty good and they wouldn't end up being lablled as journeymen. If it happened on Saturday night, then it'll happen on other nights in other towns.

I'm thinking its clowns like that ref on saturday that can determine how these kids careers can work out, if they had a few breaks which would give them further confidence, who knows what they could be doing.

If you keep getting the decisions against you when everyone knows you've won - what does that do to a young kids confidence and belief?

I am surprised that Bagueley hasn't packed in to be honest.

I have seen him about four times and felt he won on every occasion!

Having looked at Boxrec it would indicate a few hometown decisions, a round being scored 10-10 instead of 10-9 in his favour......

A lot of them are four round fights, which for me serve no purpose and should be scrapped - the only thing I agree with Adam Booth on!!
