he could still have competitive fights at the weight or he could also fight Cotto again if he wins a world title. One defeat should not end ur career.

Shane has had 6 losses in his career, not one, and he already sounds a little punchy and he's made millions in his career. Mind as well get out now.

Go home that's where he should go, retire invest his money and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Boxing is not a sport to be hanging around too long, is hard and it's not merciful.

As far as I'm aware he can't have a unifaction fight with Berto because Mosley's loss means his belt is vacant. And to answer your first question, hopefully retirement.

I was talking about how before the May fight nobody would have called on him to retire and nowq based only on that one fight and loss, people are saying he should retire. Why, he lost to arguably the best fighter on the planet, how does that prove he is finished with all others?

honestly ther is nothing left for him to do....at this stage its clear he shouldnt be fighting ELITES or BIG RISKS.

i would though like to see him go out with a W.

Mosley was saying all the long that he wanted to prove he was the very best WW on he planet. That seemed to be his ultimate goal. Now that he failed by losing to Mayweather,Shane should seriously think about hanging up the gloves.

Shane Mosley is a future hall of famer that realy has nothing left to prove in the sport of boxing.

Mosley is also a very competitive person...

We might not have seen the last of him in the ring?

As a boxing fan Mosley has been great to watch.I wish him the best.

Retirement, where he can focus on patching things up with Jin.

A fight with Berto seems to make the most sense - or else just retire.

Defend the WBA there are alot a uys he can beat. I think he can beat Manny if Manny ever agrees to fight at 147. That punch in the 2nd would have got Manny outta there he does not have the D or the survival skills of Floyd. Berto gives him trouble cause he can shoulder roll. He can beat guys like Zavck or Hlyatsaawayo or Rodriguez why retire if u got a belt and can still beat jsut about anybody but Floyd
