Were Clay/Ali vs Liston Fixed?

    Your scoring of the Norton III fight seems fair. I agree the Young fight was ugly, boring & difficult to score. The Shavers fight i don't really care about, it could go either way, but i prefered the powerpunching. As for the Doug Jones fight, i had it 6-4 to Jones, but Clay was very green. Here is my scoring for it:


    Ali-Jones '63

    Round 1: Jones

    Round 2: Ali

    Round 3: Ali

    Round 4: Jones

    Round 5: Jones

    Round 6: Jones

    Round 7: Jones

    Round 8: Jones

    Round 9: Ali

    Round 10: Ali


    Total:     6-4 Doug Jones


    I recall in rounds 4 to 8, Jones had impressive success landing his overhand right, & stunned Clay a few times.

    Last time I watched it,I made it 6-4 to Ali. Another one where a lot of the rounds were close.

    Fair enough, the decision could've went to either, depending on the judge. :good
