I am not quite sure yet, I wanted to see what you think.

I meant "where" by the way!

Considering how obvious he is at times I'd say he's pretty high.

Not that high. Pavlik is an accumulation puncher, not a one punch knockout artist.

I think you don´t know the meaning of the word "puncher". A perfect example for an ATG-puncher is Joe Louis, he could hit fast, hard, with precision, threw great combinations, etc., he have to ranked much higher than a Mac Foster or a Earnie Shavers, although both of them had a harder one-punch...

NBT, ask the others, you´re wrong here. A hard puncher is not only someone who could hit very hard, you need the all-in-one- package, speed, precision, variety in your punches, etc., Pavlik for example is a great puncher, but we can´t rank him right now because it´s still a bit too early to do that...

Pavlik really didn't hit Taylor with alot of clean punches. He's a deliberate 1-2 puncher. And it takes him some rounds to really get that right hand in. But once he starts landing it frequently those guys fall apart.

Granted he'll never be as devastating as someone like Julian Jackson. But I'd say he may prove to be as devastating as Tommy Hearns. He just lacks the angles and speed to be up there with some of the top KO artists. But he still can bang.

Raw power? He probably ranks somewhere in the top 10 ever at middleweight.

He's probably up there at the top.
Once it's all said and done, he will leave boxing a legend, mark my words :bbb

Too early, give him some more fights at the elite level and he'll show his true power as being over/under rated.

3 or 4 more fights will cement it.

ok then, let's narrow down who did have better power than pavlik at MW. i'd nominate mclellan, jackson and benn.

I'll just throw some names out as well and get people's opinions as to whether or not they believe Pavlik hits harder...

Hearns, Graziano, Ketchel, Fitzsimmons, Hagler, Carter, Fernandez, Mugabi, Abraham

    I'll think of some more

Folks, trust me, Taylor got hit with a lot of flush shots throughout that fight.
