    P4P, he's outside of the Top 50. He defended his title against a lot of weak opposition. He was popular for beating Schmeling during a time of rising tensions and Hitler's rise to power.

    A great heavy can out rank a great lighter guy p4p.
    They can be fighting bigger guys even though they’re both heavies, as said already.
    Circumstances are all different for each boxer.
    If you’re the best heavy you’re the ultimate boxer, theoretically no one can beat you. That can supersede a skilled little guy winning in a few weight classes.
