Were does Virgil Hill rank amongst the Light Heavy Weights

there has to be a criteria for me. If a guy did not beat ATG fighters then he is being overrated. Duran lacks wins over ATG fighters no matter what. One win over a green Ray Leonard, who then came back and beat him easily. Ray even said he wanted to beat Duran at his own game and said and I almost did it. Virgil Hill lost to Jones and Hearns. Had he beaten one of those two it would have helped his legacy. It just showed he was below that elite level, but he did beat the good level like Maske,Czyz,Tiozzo,Stewart,Delvalle, etc.

 

Sven Ottke had plenty of defences as well, how do you consider him amongst atgs?

Hearns was too big for Duran.
P4P that fight is almost meaningless.
Hearns wasn't that much green against Leonard : he turned pro only 9 months after Leonard , was only 2 years younger , won his world welterweight title just 9 months after Leonard , had an amateur past prior to his pro career as well , and was not as successful as an amateur just because he was never all that good , see his loss to Pryor , it also says : 155-8 only 7 stoppages.
If you are so sure he is a top 50 p4p , then either you didn't try to compile a top 50 list , or you just have more to learn than I do , and I do have too.
Duran was usually the little man fighting bigger men , this yields p4p greatness , in Hearns' case , it was usually the opposite .
I do think Duran is overrated at each one of the weight classes he ever fought at , but not p4p .
